An Introduction to Irish Sign Language and Deaf Awareness

IrishDeaf organisation will deliver this two hour session. The 23 September 2025 is International Day of Sign Languages. The session will increase your understanding of the Deaf Community in Ireland and Deaf Culture. Attendees will learn how to communicate in a Deaf friendly way. The session will also teach simple phrases which will help you interact with a Deaf person.
